Our Watchman on The Wall

Pastor James Wethey and his wife, Sis. Diane. God has blessed this couple with a fruitful ministry. They are blessed with many spiritual gifts. We are so thankful for our watchman and his wife.

Bro. Wethey is an old time Holy Ghost preacher that believes in buying the truth and selling it not. "Thus saith the Lord, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls..." (Jeremiah 6:16). Bro. Wethey is a "fire-ball" preacher who cares where our soul will spend eternity. He doesn't believe in "sugar-coating" the Word of God. He stands firm in the Apostolic doctrine. He delivers his messages from God with firmness and compassion. We are so blessed to have him as our shepherd.

Sis. Wethey fulfills the word as she teaches the ladies Sunday School class. The Bible tells us in Titus 2: 3-5, that the older women are to teach the younger women... This is what Sis. Wethey does not only in word but in deed as well. She is an example of true holiness in our church. Not only is Sis. Wethey a remarkable teacher but God has also blessed her with an annointed voice as well. When she sings you are sure to feel the power of the Holy Ghost.

It is great to know that we have a man and woman of God whom loves and cares for our every need. We love and thank God for Bro. & Sis. Wethey.

Praise the Lord! Greetings in the Name of Jesus!

Someone asked me the question, "What do you believe?" Well this is what I believe...

I believe the Word of God! The beginning is a good place to start...

St. John 1:1,2,3,10,14 (1) In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the WORD WAS GOD. (2) The same was in the beginning with God. (3) All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made. (10) He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. (14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Luke 24:45,46,47,49 (45) Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures. (46) And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: (47) And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (49) And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Acts 2:37-40 (37) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? (38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (39) For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (40) And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Acts 4:10-12 (10) Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. (11)This is the Stone which was set at nought of you builders which is become the head of the corner. (12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other Name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Colossians 3:16-17 (16) Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (17) And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Galatians 1:8-9 (8) But though, we, or an angel from Heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (9) As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than ye have received let him be accursed.

II John 1:10 (10) If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed.
